This is how I started talking to girls...

While I was taking Sathya to Tiruvermbur in my bike, we were having a conversation about our first incident of talking to girls. We were teasing and mocking at each other. A few moments later, I thought of translating those vivid-memories of mine into something of a written form .And that’s how I got the idea for this blog J

I wanna pen about 2 of my experiences, though those incidents are slightly embarrassing !

During my HSC:

I’m just a guy who didn’t get an opportunity to study in a co-education school like so many poor-souls out there .Though my school was not co-ed, my tuition was! It had been more than a year, we had been attending tuitions along with gals, but we never used to talk to gals at all. We used to sit as separate groups for gals & guys and each group would act as if the other group didn’t exist.

On an average day, my friend and I were coming out of school, walking, with our cycles. To our surprise, we saw 2 of our tuition gals standing at the entrance of our school and waiting for somebody. We thought that they might be waiting to talk to our Tuition Teachers who were working in our school .But suddenly, One of the gals started walking towards me – It’s just a walking, but you know what happened to me – My heart beats started pulsating and I could hear them loud enough so much so that the outside world sounds got muted , my hands started sweating and my legs started twitching unconsciously. As she started coming closer and closer, the surrounding environment slowly got blurred, just like in movies, and that only gal’s picture was visible. And when she just came near and wanted to ask something, I thought I was all ears. But alas, I wasn't. And what I remember, at the end of that incident, was an unexpected weird-look the gal gave. My friend told me that I was incessantly blinking and nervously laughing when she was asking something. And when she asked me about “Whether we have tuition tomorrow?”, I started blabbering something without even looking at her. And when she asked again I mumbled something this time - I wasn’t mentally prepared to handle such situations hitherto L and that’s why she gave that weird look and left that place! When I think about that incident even now, I feel how pathetic and amusive I was.

During my 1st year @ MIT:

After a heavy Friday night dinner at MIT NV mess, my other class friend and I were walking so lethargically that we found it very hard to move even 100 feet. You could imagine how much we could have eaten then J .And I saw my classmate, yeah a girl, was heading our way to the exit, along with her father .When she was coming near us, I noticed something different in her - She was wearing fresh Jasmine flowers. Out of the blue, she stopped in front of us and started introducing me to his father. Taken by surprise, I became alert, regained my posture and started talking to her and his father .That was what I thought. BUT I WASN’T.I blanked-out this time too – You cannot blame me this time; this time, the culprit was Jasmine flowers. Yes the Jasmine flower’s fragrance! OMG! I never knew flowers’ fragrance could drive you crazy like that. Her father was asking me about studies, new environment, food etc. but I was just nodding my head with a smiling face, just like Subramaniapuram Jai, looking at her without answering even a single question of his! Sensing something odd, her father cut-short the conversation, said bye and left away. As usual, my friend explained about what had transpired later and laughed at me. Yeah, I laughed too! :O
