What makes it 'click' among the 60 million users around the globe ? This blog is about that. Stop , I'm not going to write about Technical aspects of FB ; But about the Human aspects- How FB captivated People!

The FB's idea is very simple : There are so many people in the world, who don't know what to do with their time. You just engage them, everything else will fall in place.

At the outset ,how do people join Facebook ?
It's a Pure social pressure - Your BF/GF /F is on FB.Aint you ?As per the world, if you are not on FB ,you don't exist !

What do people do in Facebook ?
Mindlessly add every chick /chap in the FB to your friends list, just to flaunt your friends count !

What encourages people to spend time on Facebook ?
Appreciation and Recognition. Majority of the human beings are low in self-confidence and do only those things which others approve of .But they don't get such "approve of " occasions in their life; That's where FB pitches in - Your friends are lured to queue up to appreciate you, on your Wall Post,Pictures, links, videos, tags, etc. by a tacit quid-prod-quo agreement ! Appreciation is addiction - As the time goes on, your appetite for appreciations increases and you indulge "living" on FB, literally.

And,
Girls are more getting more addicted to FB than Guys ! - What else would you expect, when tons are friends (esp Guys) post comments for a Wall post just as stupid as "I'm happy 2day!" :) :)

And about the special "like" button of FB ?
It's the best example of how simple an Idea as "like" could change the way people lived ! This helps the laziest of the lazes - They don't even need to punch some keys ; just click "like" and get "Thanks" appreciation from your friend ! By that "like", they spend much lesser time than to comment and still get a reward ! How easy ? ! I know a guy who is slave-to-that like - He always clicks like rather than comment.Always !

If friends appreciations are enough, what FB games & Other applications do ?
Once people started "living" on FB,slowly they find themselves lonely -without any of their friends online on FB to "comment" or "like " .Thence-after they turn their attention to Games and Other applications that feed their laziness. And become completely addicted.

Isn't FB just a fad ?
I believe it is ! People would soon start recognizing how they waste time on FB and start moving on.But FB is doing so many things to make people stick to FB - For instance, it eliminated the Registration ,each time you want to access a site- Now people can login to those sites with their FB id itself !.And one another interesting thing is FB badges. You can let your "presence-felt" throughout the Internet using Badges.

FB is simply trying to monopolize the vast Internet, spread across Continents ! I wished to write a detailed blog about this FB, but it would become too much too do with Human Psychology, which would dissuade people to follow this post and hence I'm stopping here.

Students, Do Some thinking...

If you want to learn, you have to be an empty-cup ,says Robin Sharma. But,as a student, are you an empty-cup? Are you trying to learn from your Teachers or are you spending your time in finding his/her fault ?

There are certain pertinent questions that I ruminate :

Why are we all so critical ?
Why do we always waste our time in evaluating others ?

Why do we keep blaming others ?

Why do we complain about others ?

Why do spend so much of time just to pin-point others' mistakes ?

Why don't we take them as they are ?

The answer lies in "how we were treated in childhood". If you are an average (including below-par) intelligent guy, then everyone in your surroundings would have compared you with some other fellow and mocked at your intelligence - Your "self " starts taking a blow there and you start feeling uncomfortable slightly. When the same mocking continues, you begin to feel a little different ,not-okay-with-yourself feelings ,which finally snowball into something called complex. And that's where the problem starts. When you are in complex, you start looking at others;start observing them;start comparing with them ;start judging them either as Superior / Inferior to you. In fact,we long to label others as Inferior to us.When you judge others as inferior, you become critical, you start complaining, you start blaming, you waste time on fault-finding. When you do so,your personal ego gets a mild, unsaid, devilish-pleasure and that keeps you on-a-high for some time. You become a slave-to-that-pleasure,unbeknown to yourself, and you go on criticizing others, just to be on-that-high ! And you don't mind, even if that others, are your Teachers ! You just go on that mindless rampage, incessantly!

For brilliant-guys,the case would have been altogether different . He starts snubbing at others right from the day when others start extolling him of his comparative brilliance and he judges others as Inferiors.

So as a student, when we spend time on judging them especially Teachers, what are we doing to them ? What are we doing to us ? Do some thinking ...

But remember, the culprit is a single word - "Comparison". DOT.

This is how I started talking to girls...

While I was taking Sathya to Tiruvermbur in my bike, we were having a conversation about our first incident of talking to girls. We were teasing and mocking at each other. A few moments later, I thought of translating those vivid-memories of mine into something of a written form .And that’s how I got the idea for this blog J

I wanna pen about 2 of my experiences, though those incidents are slightly embarrassing !

During my HSC:

I’m just a guy who didn’t get an opportunity to study in a co-education school like so many poor-souls out there .Though my school was not co-ed, my tuition was! It had been more than a year, we had been attending tuitions along with gals, but we never used to talk to gals at all. We used to sit as separate groups for gals & guys and each group would act as if the other group didn’t exist.

On an average day, my friend and I were coming out of school, walking, with our cycles. To our surprise, we saw 2 of our tuition gals standing at the entrance of our school and waiting for somebody. We thought that they might be waiting to talk to our Tuition Teachers who were working in our school .But suddenly, One of the gals started walking towards me – It’s just a walking, but you know what happened to me – My heart beats started pulsating and I could hear them loud enough so much so that the outside world sounds got muted , my hands started sweating and my legs started twitching unconsciously. As she started coming closer and closer, the surrounding environment slowly got blurred, just like in movies, and that only gal’s picture was visible. And when she just came near and wanted to ask something, I thought I was all ears. But alas, I wasn't. And what I remember, at the end of that incident, was an unexpected weird-look the gal gave. My friend told me that I was incessantly blinking and nervously laughing when she was asking something. And when she asked me about “Whether we have tuition tomorrow?”, I started blabbering something without even looking at her. And when she asked again I mumbled something this time - I wasn’t mentally prepared to handle such situations hitherto L and that’s why she gave that weird look and left that place! When I think about that incident even now, I feel how pathetic and amusive I was.

During my 1st year @ MIT:

After a heavy Friday night dinner at MIT NV mess, my other class friend and I were walking so lethargically that we found it very hard to move even 100 feet. You could imagine how much we could have eaten then J .And I saw my classmate, yeah a girl, was heading our way to the exit, along with her father .When she was coming near us, I noticed something different in her - She was wearing fresh Jasmine flowers. Out of the blue, she stopped in front of us and started introducing me to his father. Taken by surprise, I became alert, regained my posture and started talking to her and his father .That was what I thought. BUT I WASN’T.I blanked-out this time too – You cannot blame me this time; this time, the culprit was Jasmine flowers. Yes the Jasmine flower’s fragrance! OMG! I never knew flowers’ fragrance could drive you crazy like that. Her father was asking me about studies, new environment, food etc. but I was just nodding my head with a smiling face, just like Subramaniapuram Jai, looking at her without answering even a single question of his! Sensing something odd, her father cut-short the conversation, said bye and left away. As usual, my friend explained about what had transpired later and laughed at me. Yeah, I laughed too! :O

Nadunisi Naaygal

The person who is well-renowned for making breezy-romantic flicks of late, has attempted a genre that's not well exploited in Kollywood yet .Yes Gautam Vasudev menon at a Thriller now ! Though the recent Myskin's Yuthem sei also falls under the same genre , I wasn't quite impressed with it.Blame on in the fact that some of its scenes resembled or rather reminded me of the movie SAW.

I'm not a fan of thrillers. In fact ,I despise such movies. But being an admirer of Menon's work, it was natural of me to have expectation. And the caveats -Not for Weak hearted souls,Only for Multiplex Audience,Only for 1.3o hours ,No Songs & No BGM, have stoked it further. Thanks to my 3rd trim midterms exams,I couldn't see it on the first day but managed to hit the theater on the 3rd day with 13 of my BIM-mates (i.e.) Yesterday @ Ramba Theater ,Trichy.

The movie starts with deafening gun shots at a police officer by a tall guy in a blurred background. And the police falls rather slowly in the nearby stagnant-water and it splashes around. That scene picturisation itself depicts the brilliance of the Auteur Menon.Following that ,in a hospital setup, that tall guy,the protagonist Veera, starts narrating his story(movie story)- A Gautam's cliche. He starts describing about his past experiences and incidences that made him who he is now - An MPD Psychopath Killer ! Through that narration, Menon sheds light on the darkest nature of humans: Incest , Child Abuse & MILF sex.To intensify the impact, he resorts to an overdose of SEX & Violence in a rather new dimension that's unexplored in Tamil cinema yet.The way the protagonist woos girls one by one and killing them are familiar concepts though. After these intro-killings comes Sameera Reddy, the ravishing beauty who gave heart attacks to youths around the world, through the movie Vaaranam Aayiram.Though her character is the turning point of the movie, she fails to score miserably in front of Veera. Her scope is too limited though and I find a thing that's missing this time- Her Charmingness.... A big let down :( Then the story revolves around how Veera kidnaps Sameera and ensuing incidents that lead to his arrest.

Besides Menon & Veera there's a guy who deserves special mention here. It's the Camera-man Manoj Paramahansa.Being a thriller he's got plenty of opportunity to showcase his exquisite skills and he pulls it off so brilliantly.Sometimes you stop following the story and just be awestruck by the way he cranked camera. A Glimpse - In the last scene,Veera would be chasing Sameera in rain and this scene is captured from a top like someone standing just straight above you and watching you from there ! And about lack of music - You wouldn't feel that it lacks music at all ,which can be attributed to Menon's brilliant way of story-telling.

To sum it up all ,it was worthy of my Rs.80/-

There are many people who had written bad reviews about this movie. In fact ,people who came with me bashed movie like anything, but I liked it :) Watch it if you are the one who craves for different genres :)

Blank

I have been thinking to blog frequently but couldn't do so for one primary reason - You need some content to write about, which i believe that I get, only if i read some books.I don't often get time to read books and hence I'm not able to blog as well.So I thought about why don't I blog about what "I think" - what's getting chewed in my mind often - My perspectives about everything. But I'm afraid that would put me in a disadvantageous situation, where, everybody would know what I'm thinking and would start "Judging me" based on that.Luckily, I'm reminded of Godfather's movie dialogue "Never let others know what you think ! " .
It's true that everybody is eying for an opportunity to snub others even at their slightest mistakes. It's the inherent nature of human being to keep on judging other people on every action they do .They always try to judge others either below or above themselves, and I don't wanna give them a chance to do that here :)
Hence that logically throws me back to square one - What to Blog ? Well, I'm thinking of writing about things happening around me ,that are content-enough for a blog and useful-to-some-extent for the souls that peruse my blog once . OK,I stop this here, got 3rd term midterms exams from morrow.

One helluva Final, I should say

The much anticipated Final Cricket duel in Wickets'11 happened today in front of entire BIM crowd. It's a match between the 2nd year Marines vs 1st year Galacticos.Galacticos had an upper hand considering the fact they were the winners of the last semester volleyball Tournament.

Now getting to the Finals - It's one cracker of the contest - At the beginning, Galacticos scrambled to get the going - they couldn't score .The opener Kaushik prasanna gave a decent start and got out and the Galacticos' other opener, the star batsman, Kaarthik J was finding hard to get his rhythm and Galacticos were fizzling down at a score of 35 for 7 overs. And that's where the Playmaker Sakthi kamal stepped in, and started carting the ball around and took the score to 90 with his brilliant innings. Thanks to timely contribution of Prem Karthick, the score reached 108 at the end of first innings. If you thought that's the safe target to win a match, stop, think again - That's where the match started !

With almost the entire crowd of BIM including Velociraptors, cheering for Marines, they started their innings with PC & Suraj. After PC's dismissal,Not-in-form Suraj & Giri took control of the game and with Suraj's devastating play the Marines gained an upper hand with 64/1 for 7 overs.Pressure mounting up , Galacticos messed-up the bowling and they found it pretty difficult to come back in the game. And then it happened - Suraj got dismissed. And Rajaram , the captain of Marines ,who carried the entire crowd's(as well as team's) hopes on his shoulders stepped in -As the Marines already got an upper hand hitherto, the arrival of Rajaram has was an harbinger ; but the unexpected happened there too - Rajaram got dismissed for duck and that's where Galacticos made their real-entry in the game. With the wonderful bowling attack lead by Parthiban, the Galacticos captain, they dismissed the successive batsmen for paltry scores. Marines were slightly losing their hope with wickets tumbling and the crowd goes to graveyard-silence.Then came Bharatram of Marines and hit 2 sixes of 2 balls and made sure that Marines were back in the match. As Galacticos and Marines were snatching the game from each other in a round-robin fashion, the audience were kept glued to their seats. Now Prem Karthick bowled and took 2 wickets in a single over and that put the Marines in precarious situation and successive wickets fall dashes the hope of Marines .

Now Marines had to hit 10 runs from the final over.Finny Manigandan and injured Rajagobal were the batsmen and Kaushik was the bowler. This pair managed to get 5 runs off 4 balls and Finny was facing the 5th ball off Kaushik.Kaushik bowled a full-toss and the lean Finny smashed it and the ball crossed the boundary. The entire crowd became delirious and started running towards the middle of the ground and fire-crackers were burnt all over the ground and the players were celebrating the victory.Stop ! - The umpire announced that it's just a Four not a Six ! With 1 ball left and scores at tie,Galacticos wanted to tie the match at least. They kept all fielders inside the 30 yards circle to stop that single off the last ball but Finny flicked it to leg side and sealed the Victory for Marines ! And that brought Glory to Marines !

It's out and out entertainment for the entire BIM - Both Galacticos and Marines had showed their best and regaled the audience - What more can you expect from a Match of Wickets'11 - One helluva Final ,I should say!

                                                                                                                                                                                                       -- MARINES --

-- GALACTICOS --

Thank you Guys for the Wonderful Memories !!

Ponniyin Selvan

Well ,they say this is one of the best Tamil novels ever written. To substantiate that fact the Tamil Nadu Government Nationalized this novel and it's available as open source to anyone to publish. I happen to read one of such open source e-text versions which incidentally was prepared in my college MIT as a part of KBC research project for preserving ancient Tamil Literature and the e-text link is available here - Ponniyin Selvan
To say about the novel,I kinda liked it to some extent for the way Kalki had stroked it.He's adept at beautifully portraying things especially when he's describing about Nandini's / Kundavi's beauty -You can't help but keep wondering about how B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l Nandini could be ! Some of the conversations between Aalwarkadiyan,Vallavarayan,Kundavi deserve special appreciations.Sometimes you get so much engrossed with the Chola world that makes you forget yourself and get completely entangled with the novel & sometimes the opposite ; especially when the characters try to explain the same things again and again - Since this novel was written as series in Kaki magazine for 3.5 years,he had to repeat the same things again and again to make audience understand it if they missed some part of the series or forgot some portion and this repetitive nature obstructs the flow of the novel too.

Some of the greatest freedom for a Thriller writer are:

One can twist the character as one wishes and one can change circumstances upside down which will be completely opposite to what you thought/guessed at first

You can introduce any number of characters in-between without being questioned ,just because it adds meat to your meal (the story)

And the characters can change their mind/stance as and when needed. I could find lot of things that are unanswered / require special explanation by the author etc

Overall I have a mixed feelings towards this novel - I do not know whether I like it or not !

I'm not sure if i'm biased just because it's a Tamil Novel.May be thriller isn't my cup of tea.May be I believe English novelist are way better than Tamil counterparts.May be I read it so fast and missed something.Anything could be a reason for my apathy! Forgive me Ponniyin selvan Fanatics !

Life @ BIM

It's been so long since i have written anything here...

Life has changed a lot from my last post, for better .I'm no more an engineer ;doing my MBA @ BIM Trichy.Almost into 2nd term end now and the sem exams are gonna start from next Sunday 26/12/2010.So many good things are happening around me in BIM which I never expected even in my wildest dreams.

Some of them I could recollect as of now @ 2.46AM(20/12/2010):-

Made some life-long Friends

Started playing badminton after 6 years

Played football for the first time in 25 years !

Learnt how to pass MBA effortlessly :P

Got Intern @ Bhutan - Could be my first foreign country visit

Continuing the habit of sleeping for long hours especially in holidays

Watching all movies on the release date itself as in Chennai

Studied whole-night for the first time in my life for CADM mid-term - pity of me !

For the first time,Traveled close to 250km by bike in a single day to Karaikudi / Pillaiyar kovil from Trichy

Won Students council election :) :)

Confused at times

Learnt to look at things differently from a normal person.Really ! :P

Met some peculiar characters here - People continue to perplex me as always !

FB-ing 24/7

Liking Marketing and liking to like Finance ( my bug bear !)

Love my OB professor DJ for the way he look at things and the clarity on the subject

Wanna blog often but couldn't -Ah my laziness :O

Wore Blazer for the first time and I hate it :/

Wanna read Novels but couldn't - Have to do it from next sem at least :)

Wanna Learn Hindi - Learnt some words but couldn't write them here for obvious reasons

An unforgettable worst thing had happened too :(

And Last but not least :

Wanna open all my new subject books once , at least ! - kept untouched for almost 3 months !

Ok... A Genius: the Evil Genius : The appellation given to him by the World.….Yes it’s none other than Adolf Hitler.

And this blog is about the book Mein Kampf :- A single Man’s vision to redeem the collapsed Germany (in the First World War) through his National Socialist German Labor Party and make it as the World-Leader.

The book has 2 volumes :
First Volume is about his early life /His Struggle and Inception of the Party
The second volume is entirely dedicated to the Visions / Ideas/Ideals of his Party.

Ayn Rand & Hitler were ardent believers of one point ,for which they dedicated their entire life.(i.e.) Individualism : No great things in the world was done by a group ,but by a single Individual and exactly on this ,Hitler detested ,the Parliamentary form of Goverment and Rand wrote all her novels about the greatness of Individualism.
About the book : The Human Events, a conservative magazine said this as 2nd most Harmful book of the 19th and 20th century !

Hitler,an Austrian born, ordinary Civil-Servant’s son, who lost his parents at an early age ,went on to become the Chancellor of Germany for 13 years (1933-1945)

An avid reader ,who believed in the words “ Reading is not an end itself but a means to end “ . He learned from the others’ mistakes (through books) and implemented the learned lessons in the salvation of Germany. He analyzed each and every issue from top to bottom and determined to learn from it.

He hated/loathed/detested/abhorred Marxisim (Communism) and Jewism to an extent ,which lead to the killings of 60 lacs Jews ,Holocaust. It was an attempt to completely wipe the Jews’ race / religion. Throughout the book, he says that Jews furtively make every attempt to destroy not only the Germany but also the entire world to rule the World, though no concrete citation has been made as whether any Group was carrying such an massive operation stealthily. His aggressiveness against Jews cannot be described in a single paragraph ; To get the feel, you have to read the entire book.

He says his race (German People) is the Superior Race : Aryans, the ones who are born to rule the world. About Negros “Just because they are look like anthropoids ,they cannot be considered as Human” . He tries to substantiate it by “Though Pug(Hutch ad dogs J) and Doberman (not an exact one !) are dogs, they are not same”. Likewise all humans are not same. Only imbecile Jews say that ”All humans are equal” because they don’t have the ability to think !

He had a clear cut idea about all : Whom they need to protect / How to educate them / How to train them in military / Who were there allies and enemies and successfully executed almost everything ,he had devised, when he was in Power .

There are so much things that can be written about this his Believes / Ideals / Values but it cannot be done in this single blog.

One thing I personally learnt from this Book is : Read ,Read ,Read & Learn, Learn, Learn from it and Use it in your life !

Ayn Rand's

More than 2 years! I have heard people talking about this book / blogging about this book / discussing about this book so fervently. There was never a single person who decried this book .Everyone gave a perfect 10 out of 10 .All these piled up my curiosity to get my hands on this book !
Ok no more suspense; it’s the Superlative Novel “The fountainhead” by Ayn Ryand.
I lived on this novel, for the past two days, completely immersed, imbued, inebriated on its 670 pages!
Ayn Ryand – The Writer – I would strongly recommend to those ,who want a carrier in Film Direction/Photography , to step into the art of film making by start reading this novel. She brilliantly portrays the scenes, characters and every minute detail with such a precision you would never imagine! If you just grasp the scenes she describes and blindly try to photograph what she had said, surely you would beat PC Sreeram of Kollywood ,hands down ! (Sorry I can’t recollect Hollywood biggies’ name now) .To write a novel of such intensity and content, she should have thought about the concept alone for more than 2 years (!), if my guess is right.
The characters of the novel : Howard Roark,Peter Keating,Dominique Francon,Ellsie Toohey ,Gail Wynand are so real for me after 2 days of head-to-toe indulgence ! I could see /feel, how MANLY Howard Raork is (Just to say this name alone, I feel a sense of pride /insolent-ness of the character),how GORGEOUS Dominique Francon is ,how INCOMPETENT Peter Keating is , how CLEVER Ellsie Toohey is,how CUT-THROAT person Gail Wynand is !
There are lot of things I admire about each and every character of what Ayn Rand has portrayed. Their peculiarity, curtness, rudeness, the types of words they exchanged, intellectual speeches .
I noticed some words she used exhaustively throughout the book : gay, reproach, impertinence, insolence, bromide, presumptuous.
I guess she prefer lean people to fat ones. All of her characters are lean!
The comfortable way of relaxing oneself, according to her, is lying on the floor using support of elbows.
A man can have his own identity through what he does: His profession.
But one thing is clear, no one can live the characters she visualized, let alone fictional ,thanks to the queerness associated with every character but one can listen to the author’s word through her characters’ mouths .That’s worth a million dollar.May be much more than that !!
Individualism & Collectivism is the core-concept of the book. Individualism is nothing but Individual, who thinks of his own and creates things of his own- a Creator.Collectivisim is nothing but group of people .who don’t give a thought about themselves but about others as a group, to run after the word PRESTIGE for the want of appreciation, recognization, money, pride etc.
I’m tempted to write briefly about the contents but I’m afraid it would take me 3 full days to do that :(

I’m planning to read it as many times as possible, to understand the new meaning or any overlooked inner-meaning on my first perusal. For those of you who haven’t read this book, Save your Soul ,read this novel, before you feel that you missed something invaluable in your life (i.e.) This book !

The Monk who enlightened Me

After 7 months of hiatus I have decided to write about One-of-the-life-Changing-book I have ever read. (I haven’t read more than 10 non-academic books so far but, that’s a different issue J ).Some bibliophile would have correctly identified the name just by this blog’s name. This book will be a worthy treasure for those who are down in the dumps and who want inspirational words to be cast on them to achieve big in their life. It is for those who frantically chase their passions and for those who want/need to surmount the insurmountable.

Honestly I heard about this book just 3 days back and wanted to lay my hands on it so fervently that I couldn’t do it until yesterday’s night ,that too by some ridiculous luck. Since I have been working in night shift for the past couple of months, the hard-loneliness I feel is very inexplicable but yesterday night I felt that I was in the middle of friendly rejuvenating thoughts. At around 10 PM while I was going for a cup of coffee, I happen to see the dazzling thing I have been looking for the past 3 days. Yes, as you have guessed, it was the “The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari by Robin S.Sharma ” [someone named Vijayakumar (same name as I) accidentally left it in the office] and I was exhilarated at seeing the book but I thought someone would have gone for coffee like me leaving the book there. After half-an-hour I went to that place again where the book was and as I suspected, it was not left by someone, for coffee but for home. What else? Hooray! I just picked it up and finished it at 5 AM in the morning without pausing for a single moment!! But don’t question me “Is it why you go to office? “.You know, I juggled both the work and the book such one didn’t come in other’s way (chuckles).

It was such a book that never makes you bored or annoyed at any point of time provided if you are one among those determined people who wildly chase their dreams. In the same time it will never let you to lay it down too: such gripping thoughts throughout the book.

Let’s get down to the business…

Adages are strewn throughout the book though; some might sound clichéd but should be etched. There was a quote which I liked “Success in the outside world is nothing until you have succeeded within” –though not the exact verbatim, I guess some people could get the inner-meaning of the above quote and realize how true it is. I’m 150% sure that this book can bring radical change in you if you embrace its ideas open-heartedly (i.e.) you should be an empty cup – book’s jargon!! It was written in very-plain-Indian English that even a child can read it comfortably without any difficultly in comprehension and vocabulary. I assure you that “You will never be the same“from the moment you start reading this book to the moment you dare to stop following its ideas .He explains the whole concept of happy-living by a very simple story with 7 trifle things: Japanese Sumo wrestler, Light House, Yellow Roses, Diamonds, Yarned-Pink rope, stop Watch and Garden and as you go on, the real meaning of these trifle things is unfurled which will surely enlighten you like it did to me.

I can myself just list out all the things about the book but you would not feeling the taste of “Real fruit” until you taste it yourself. Through there are several enticing thoughts/ideas discussed throughout the book but let me say about one thing and for sure only one thing.
Everybody is having their own Strengths and Weakness and all of us are afraid of our Weakness. This book suggests “The only way to get rid of your weakness is keep on doing the weakness-thing again and again until you are comfortable with it - Nourish your spirit. Do the things you fear. “. And that is exactly what I‘m doing right now as Writing is one of my weaknesses and I have decided to confront all my weakness as per this book’s didactic words.

I’m not sure whether I have provoked you people to read this book at least once. Had I, the purpose of this blog is doubly-filled (I guess you know what I mean).

As Always,
Your Vj

Can Stoicism be Panoply ?

Do you people ever witnessed the fruitful part of Stoicism? I will be marveled if not. I too had a chance to use stoic as veneer, and came out with cheerful countenance, in a pretty intricate situation.Paradox? Yes it is ! Having tasted its fruit , Obviously hereafter I will stick to it in the futurity. Most of my friends identify me as short tempered guy, coz of which I had to tiff/tussle with my acquaintances/friends/close friends. As like everybody else,I used to repent after such pale incidents involving foot in the mouth problem.I mused for hours , sometimes even for days as how to obviate the negative part of me .Until yesterday I’m absolutely clueless about how to handle it . Sometimes there will be swamp of didactic speeches aired, with you being idle , amidst those.I have been through those painful situation like some of us.
Last day it was a kinda as-usual tempting situation but failed to provoke me, which if I did, I would be in deep crisis So I gave myself an another treatment which would direct me out of the strayed rut. It is not something which appeared for me in a fraction of a second. After much predicament I decided to consult one of my friends to find a way out of that cheeky situation. He carefully heeded to me and gave suggestions, which I clinched tightly and coz of which I feel I’m totally relieved not only from the yesterday’s situation but also from the same genre of situations that would happen in the near future. You would have guessed what that suggestion would be. Its just simple:: “Seethe yourself/Remain un-flinched/Cling to Stoicism, which will act as panoply ”.Though I have heard the same sort of words gazillion times, I just took up his words blindly much to my surprise, and averted the strife.
The people who are skimming through this right now must be cursing me, if I’m not wrong, as what the hell this dude wanna convey? Guys, If I say what exactly has happened word by word, I believe that would dump me in the same mire from which I just now came out .So I guess let that worthless unknowable thing be shrouded well enough from you as well as me ,for ever.So what did you get from this blog?Try to be unperturbed at all times. So just give a try yourself and I’m damn sure you will be stoically excited :-).

Vetti kadhai yeluthiyavar,
Vj Kumar.

A small incident that provoked me.......

After mulling so long,I too decided to puke my musings over this electronic paper in the name of blogging. Why in the world one needs blogs , huh ? Most people argue that blogging is a criminal waste of your potential time which otherwise would have been used in artistic ways .Since you cant say my world of "time" as "potential " and since i've been left with ample amount of that "worthless-potential" time right from my college-days, some impetus in me , poking, needling, pestering me incessantly to do something which could be useful to me at the least,if i do.
And finally, that impetus left me amidst the ubiquitous Internet -to be precise in Blogging :) Having said that, now i been forced to delve to ink something here, that's what this place is for right? I have kept myself dormant for long,so long. Why cant i just overshadow that impetus as i been doing it hitherto ,why the hell did i land up here? why ?Its all started coz of a small incident that happened today which left me stumped .I was having a conversation with my colleagues during lunch.Suddenly one old friend of mine, said that ,none in IT company can write a single page of mail without any mistakes,be it either grammar or spellings . That words really hit me somewhere hard, very hard. I was wondering, is it so ?I don't know about other people whether they can /can't ,but i can't ! yes man i cant ! I have never tried to write even a single complete paragraph of my own thoughts ,in my own words, in my own style, then how the heck will i able to ? So i thought why don't i start doodle something, as everybody else in the name of blogging ,so i get something which can hone my penning skills gradually in the long run.
As my blog name suggests am just one more inane scribbler.so guys don't expect something interesting from me man,i don't have one as of now.If i cling to my blogging habit(can i say so ?) may be in the near future i can add something which you guys might like to skim upon.

Till then, Adios guys
